(71) Plan C

Plan C is now in place, it's a drug called Revlimid, there are several other drugs to go with it but there are side effects drugs, things like sickness. Let's see how it goes.
The pain in the back has settlled somewhat, having changed the dose a little last night after doctors advice.

  2. Hi Ivan

I haven't kept up with the blog for the last two weeks, so I'm a bit shocked and sorry to see it's such a hard time for you at the moment. Obviously I, like all, send you my best wishes and hope the Revlimid is the answer.

    Good luck mate!

  4. I'm glad the hospital are on to your high calcium - it tends to make people feel pretty miserable (bone pains, low mood, abdo pains) when unrecognised with consequent improvement when it is reduced again. Usually plenty of fluids (sometimes IV) works with the addition of high dose steroids (dexametasone) & sometimes a chemo drug as well.
Get it done soon & back home ASAP!

  5. Sorry to hear things have been so difficult for you lately, Ivan. Good to have Plan C though. We hope it will work for you without too many nasty side-effects to endure.
Love & prayers from Sue & Dave.
