3) Start the Bortezomib (Velcade)

After lots of water and a saline drip it was time for the Velcade (new drug). The fluids and preparation took about two and a half hours, the Velcade took 30 seconds from a syringe.
I have to have blood tests and the treatment above next Mon, Thur and the following Tue to see the New year in (and many more after that).
Now it's time to watch out for the side effects.

  1. Sounds like it is all systems go! Amazing what you have had to learn. Personally I am struggling to dunk my rusks successfully! Love the bush tea too. I am keeping my cheap bags in your posh box. (For anyone else reading this comment, this is not a coded message, but Ivan will understand!!)
    Thinking of you a lot.

  2. Thanks D & J
This all came so fast, when I saw you last Sat we had no idea, I was feeling great and just going for standard blood tests requested by me just to keep an eye on it, wow good job we did.
Glad you like the tea box, the rusks are all in the timing.
Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas together, I think we need some new photos of your boys ( In Town Kit)
    Cheers
