7) shops

Had a fairly good nights sleep just waking a few times with coughing but generally ok.

We went for the final food shopping at 8.30 so now that's all done the rest of the day is rest for me.

Hospital tomorrow again for 9 and then again Tuesday, how would I cope without friends and family running me round everywhere? Thankfully that isn't a worry because you are all there in your own special ways, it doesn't have to be a lift, it comes in all forms, an email, a joke, a phone call, a how's things or even just a smile, it's all special, thank you.

    Today (according to my patients) the supermarkets were like the Dunkirk beaches (presumably fewer explosions, though). The roads certainly weren't good (90 mins to do one home visit near the town centre). You're not missing much.
    Hope it goes well tomorrow (i.e. no side effects afterwards!). Don't forget to ask if you can have brandy butter afterwards.

    Peter, we were out at 8 this morning so the shops were fine and the roads not too bad either.

    I will ask about the brandy butter, it's an important part of Christmas, I did ask about a glass of wine and they said a little bit of what you fancy is good for you, there are lots of little bits I fancy so here is to a great Christmas.
